Betsy is a mom of four kids at Lafayette Elementary and Old Firehouse School. She values connected, vibrant, local communities for her own family and for our society more broadly, and has been working to build that throughout her life. Betsy started her career as a community organizer and continues to do political work today.

Brian is a father of three kids at Lafayette Elementary. He has a passion for improving walking and biking pathways for people of all ages so they can move more independently throughout their community. His hobbies include coaching soccer and building fun activities for his kids. Brian is a UX designer in the gaming industry and loves to apply his creative skills to improve his local community. In his spare time, he enjoys bothering his amazing wife, Allison.

Kirk has spent much of her adult life living in urban areas - from NYC to SF to northern Spain. She’s a natural connector and observer and her time in Europe cemented her views that a sense of community allows people thrive, both mentally and physically. She has worked in the Music Industry for the majority of her career and volunteers regularly. She and her husband have two daughters who attend Lafayette Elementary.

Steven is a photographer, filmmaker, and father who has lived in San Francisco, New York, and Los Angeles; cities that have shaped his eye for culture, creativity, and vibrant community life. Now rooted in Lafayette, he’s committed to helping build a downtown that feels alive, welcoming, and connected for families, neighbors, and local businesses.

Charlie is a multidisciplinary artist based in the Bay Area, with a degree in Graphic Design from San Diego State University. His freelance capabilities span various mediums from Product and UX Design to ceramics and illustrations. In a world of noise and attention-stealing trends, he focuses instead on crafting timeless aesthetics and immersive atmospheres. When he’s not designing, Charlie enjoys hiking and exploring the outdoors where he not only recharges but also finds much of his artistic inspiration.

Rajiv has called Moraga home since 2016 where he and his wife are raising their two kids. He started Lamorinda Life in 2025 to share the people, places, events, and stories that make the community feel special. Outside of his work in the food and beverage world, you’ll often find him on local trails, cheering at kids’ games, or spending time with neighbors around town.
